This was done in Photoshop CSOk here's a cool looking border technique you can add to almost any image.Start with a simple image you want to add your border to, such as this: First you want to press ctrl+a to select the whole image. Then go to Edit > Stroke which will bring up a dialog box like this: You want the width to be 3px, the color to be black, and make sure you have 'inside' selected. After you press ok you should have a noticable black border around the image. Then once again Edit > Stroke, but this time select the main color of your image, I will select red. You also want to change the width to 2px so it leaves one px of black showing. Make sure you have 'inside' selected, your dialog box should look like this (if it does press ok): The final step is to once again Edit > Stroke with a setting of 1px width, the color black, and 'inside' selected. Press ok and you should have a finished product of something like this: Hope everything works for you! Any questions/problems don't hesitate to PM me, but it would be benificial for others if you post here incase they have the same problem.
Thanks for reading!
